I am new to Lemons, and auto racing.
I would love to hear your favorite catch phrases, golden rules, and other play on words from Lemons and auto racing in general.
Ex.
$500 my ass
In racing, second place is the first loser.
In Lemons, 1st place is the first loser.
You gotta race with what you brought to the track
We have a sticker on the dash that says "Don't shit in your fire suit".
Seems like perfectly legit advice to me.
There are a couple of we use.
"It may be a shitty racecar but it's still a racecar"
"Hey! you scratched the paint"
"Jay's sandbox, Jay's rules".
"It wasn't my fault that I spun".
"What flag?"
"Good news: I found the problem...Bad news: we're idiots"

This is not a race car....it's a car on a race track.....
If you get called to the penalty box, IT IS YOUR FAULT!!! Not sure why you got called in, it's still your fault.

Classic. Our drivers know the answer already. They just let us know when they come in for gas & driver change. We even found a window decal that has a big CEL and says "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine".
