The 24 Hours of Lemons Forums → Lemons Tech → Roll Cage Recommendations in Florida?
Just finished stripping down the car and are getting ready for a roll cage. Any recommendations for people that can do bending/notching/etc for our roll cage? This is for a 97 Paseo (Basically a Tercel). We are central Florida and can probably handle the whole process, but would be more comfortable with somebody else doing to bending and completing welds.
I had cage done earlier this year. Did not get any recommendations that responded, so I ended up going on yelp and searching for roll cage, welding, race car shops, etc. I found one that had good feedback, called them up, sent them a copy of the Lemons cage tech sheet and got them to quote doing the roll cage and seat mounts. I made them guarantee that it would pass Lemons tech. After they were done, I worked with the Lemons tech staff to get it inspected via pictures. It did need some changes, and the shop I used did them for free.
