Topic: Need recommendations for manual transmission repair near Modesto, CA

Building a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT w/ 5 speed manual transmission that has a 3rd gear synchro issue. I’d like a suggestion for a reputable transmission shop. The car is based at my vacation home about 35 miles from Modesto, CA. I’m willing to travel a bit to assure good service. Just not familiar with the shops as I’m from SoCal.

Dive in and do it yourself, Transmission shops seem to mostly just be transmission SWAPPING shops and cater mostly to Automatics.
