Topic: PittRace 2021 - Entry List and Tech Assignments

You guys are bringing it in 2021: Omni, Tempo, Reatta are all new entries to rep the Big Three. Two old-ass Plymouths ("Plymouths") and three 1970s Mopars. Damn right. (Imgur link that is slightly less blurry than the embedded version: https://i.imgur.com/4mFiWgr.jpg)

Yes! My team name has successfully forced a word wrap, thus taking up twice as much space as the rest of the team names. My plan for domination is already off to a stellar start! Muhahaha!!

Joking aside, I really enjoy the predetermined tech times. It allows teams to get more testing done while working around a known tech window. Please try to keep this approach once things start migrating back to "normal".

Fueling says it will be covered in an email, but I'm impatient...

Do we know what the fueling rules will be?

I'm just trying to decide if I should go get a cart/wagon to drag fuel jugs around if its Hot Pit fueling.

Last time at Pitt (the only other time there) it was hot pit fueling, not allowed in the paddock.

Also for anyone who's never been to Pitt Race, the paddock is not on the same level as pit road.  IOW, there's a big hill you have to traverse down and it's not what I'd call fun hauling 15 gallons of fuel.  Think Road Atlanta's outside paddock setup for a similar feel.

Re: PittRace 2021 - Entry List and Tech Assignments

Hi,

Is the Hunsaker jug a requirement for Pitt Race Hot Pitt?
We were expecting fueling in the paddock with a 5 Gallon Jegs jug.

There is a big hill from the paddock to the pitt area at the start finish.
Bring your wagon to haul fuel.

Thanks in advance
Jay

Never heard of Hunsaker's required, ever.

Lemons rules apply here:
3.C.1 Fueling. All fueling must be done from handheld DOT-, SCCA-, or FIA-approved 5-gallon or smaller jugs or from the track’s permanent pumps.
