Topic: Cage mounting outriggers for trucks

Does anyone have pictures of the outriggers they did on their truck (or other full frame car) when mounting their cage?

Random google searching shows a couple different types but I can't find anything specific to Lemons.  I saw somewhere about using 2x2 or 2x3 square tubing and just tying the tube into that. What else are you tying that square tube into? I don't like the idea of just a square beam cantilevered off the frame rail.

Thanks

This is all I have on my phone at the moment...crappy pics from MSR last year. If you need, the next time we have the truck in the air I can take more, but we used heavy wall square tubing (2x3" I think) and welded 360deg to the frame. Wasn't super jazzed about the cantilever deal also but there aren't many options. You could reinforce the square tubing with more bracing (underneath and on the side) but what we have passes tech with no issues.

Re: Cage mounting outriggers for trucks

We got our cage from Jim at rollcagecomponents, his outrigger kit had a few extras pieces than these guys so we welded them on, not saying that's right or wrong just had pieces / had welder / had time so we did em.

Just built this cage a few months ago and raced last month, I can share more pics of the build if you like.  Hope this helps!
