Topic: Buttonwillow configuration?

Does anybody happen to know which configuration we'll be running at Buttonwillow in a few weeks?  Thanks in advance!

Re: Buttonwillow configuration?

I think it's usually #13 or #15.

Re: Buttonwillow configuration?

We haven't run 15 in several years.  It's either 13 or 25.

Gone bye-bye
1994 Jaguar XJ12 (Winner C-Class 2013 Sears Pointless)  1980 Rover SD1 (I Got Screwed 2014 Return of Lemonites)

Any idea if we'll run the A-section at the off ramp turn?

I don't think Lemons has ever run it.  Lucky Dog has.  It's a weird corner.  I could see it being a problematic chokehold with the number if cars Lemons rins.

Awesome, thank you. If anyone happens to see an official announcement on which configuration we're running, please don't hesitate to post it up!

Yup, possible.  Since we run with multiple groups there I can never remember who ran Star Mazda, who ran the sweeper. and when they did so.

Re: Buttonwillow configuration?

I emailed Nick, and he said:

I forget the number of the configuration we run, but we haven't changed it for the past few years. If you pull up in-car video of the 2020 or 2019 events on YouTube, that'll be our plan for this year.

We did do a race where we reversed direction on the second day--so far we haven't done that again, but you never know!

I pulled up a few videos, and they show the Race #1 map from here. Nick confirmed that that is the plan.

Thanks all for your help!

Re: Buttonwillow configuration?

We ran configuration 1 last year. I accidentally brake checked someone hard during practice last year thinking we were running C13.
