Those VP cans are probably the most common in Lemons. You can use them as is until pit stop times become you issue at which point you can modify them to be almost as fast as Husaker jugs.
We have a few VP cans that we use to fill a couple hunsakers. We exclusively use the hunsakers to fill the car, and use a fuel cell in our trailer and "slower" gas cans as fuel transport.
Thanks for the info!
VP Style or Hunsaker are the most common. I have 4 of each, but only use the Hunsakers for fueling. White/clear is easier to see the fuel inside. I believe NJ has special rules for cans if you race there.

+1 on this^. And way cheaper than Hunsakers if your budget is tight.

I did some testing on the VP jugs a few years back.
As is from the factory it dumps in ~1:45
If you remove the mesh screen in the filler neck it dumps in ~1:10
Upgrade to 1-14" filler tube with parts from Home Depot and it dumps in ~45 seconds.
Adding a vent tube allows you to hold the jug more upright without spilling out the vent hole.
VP jugs are good, easy to find, and cheap. Removing the mesh screen should be the first thing you do when you get them, big upgrade.

We have done a bottom vent mod and with the relatively small openning on the Dustbuster even an 1 1/4" would be close (yes, restrictor is removed).

Thing is.......technically nothing commonly used at Lemons meets the rules as written. Everyone just seems to do whatever and nobody checks.
the only non-metal DOT can I've tracked down is this: https://vpracingfuels.com/product/vp-su … c=237&
and This: http://nospill.com/index.html
Everything else is a metal safety can.
Still never found any "FIA or SCCA" cans of any kind.
Buy cheap, worry about it if they ever actually review rule 3.C.1 and figure out what they want. Know that most of the stuff people are doing is a static discharge fire waiting to happen, especially PVC pipe and fittings. So follow the rest of the actual fuel rules and wear your gear and don't spill.

I have similar to those. The two handles come in...well, handy.
