Topic: Moved to L.A., missing greasy nails, bruised knuckles and black flags

Experienced but terrible at the following:

  • Pulling engines in the pouring rain
Rebuilding transmissions with no leftover parts
    Barely passing tech
Staying under the black flag daily limit
Opening beers with every tool or car surface
    Pit chef
Dad jokes when nerves are rattled
Occasionally limping a car through some laps
Making excuses in the judge tent

Looking for a team to wrench and ride with. I’m in South Bay and preferably looking for a team nearby but may be open to a drive for the right combination of awful car, terrible mechanical knowledge and home brew.

organizer's choice 2011 Can't Git Bayou
judge's choice 2014 'Shine Country Classic
actually started AND finished a race 2014 Gator-O-Rama

Hey buddy, saw your post here and I think we have some events you'll be interested in. Road Atlanta in February with ChampCar and New Orleans Motorsports Park in March. Shoot me a text or call me at 904-233-5288

Oh, BTW one of our Chapters is based in Slidell, LA so, we're local to you.

Thanks buddy.

I think he means Los Angeles, CA. But he also mentioned south bay which are quite a distance apart?

If you're local to ventura county, I've been nearing the point of potentially maybe considering the possibility of expanding to a 2 car team.
