Topic: Looking for a team - PA

Hi all, I'm looking for a team to join up with. I don't have much track experience. But I do have a sim racing set up and I work at a Volvo dealer as a valet so I'm use to driving Volvos. And being based in PA the surrounding roads have gotten me use to a bit of hillclimb/downhill. The goal I have is to drive but I'd also be open to helping pick out a car and work on it with that said I would help with funding to an extent as well.
Cheers, John

I'm located in Bryn Mawr PA, I am willing to drive to an event.

Re: Looking for a team - PA

More about your commitment might help.

'Join a team' might mean helping fund and build a car, in addition to racing. And perhaps help choose, or donate a car to the cause.

Thank you for the suggestion, I have made changes, And your comment really helped me think about what I want out of this experience.
Thank you, John

Better.

Also:

Check out the "Lemons Newcomers" subtopic.

Pay particular attention to the stickies.

Read the contents from the team owners/captains about their difficulties finding members, and their expectations for teammates.

Including monetary commitments. Be clear on this, especially for yourself.

Be the guy they want.

Look for an arrive-and-drive.

Be at NJMP - AT LEAST as an observer. You'll enjoy it.
