Topic: $100 Jaguar XJ8 - Matawan, NJ - eBay bid of $102 w/3 hours remaining

Pics don't show...anything, but the bid with 3.5 hours to go is $102. It's all primed to throw whatever engine you want into it. Jags and Small-Block Chevys have been relatively popular in Lemons. Also is that a snowplow on a Lincoln?

From what i read, he also wanted an $850 deposit (hence, the bid under scrap value); and the good tranny from storage was an additional $850.

But, if you're doing a complete drivetrain swap, an XJ8 roller for $952 isn't bad, yes?

Eric if you persist in dangling bad choices in vehicles don't be surprised if you get a strongly worded letter from my wife.  Apparently I don't need help doing stupid things.

Watched the auction end and giggled....Saw the sellers unrealistic "$850 deposit" requirement, at best he would get $200 scrap after removing  the driveline and cats. $102 is what he deserved and is obligated to let it go for that.
