Topic: Amateur SoCal Driver

Hello, my name is Evan and I've always wanted to get into real racing so I figured here would be a good place to start since I don't have the experience or the resources to build my own car for Lemons. I am 24 and do not have any experience racing professionally. I have only practiced in sims and on the mountain roads in my area in my stock manual 3 valve 2008 Ford Mustang GT. If anyone is in need of another driver I'd love to get involved. I am located in LA county but can travel reasonable distances to wherever needed.

Hey, we don't have any spots at the moment, but times always change, drivers' have life get in the way and spots will open up in the future.

Where in LA are you located? We're in Camarillo, and if your close enough we might be able to make it work.

There is a race at buttonwillow coming up in less than a couple months, I highly recommend coming out and crewing with a team just to get your feet wet.

Re: Amateur SoCal Driver

I'm in San Diego and putting a new team together. Wrenching isn't an issue but some financial support will be required for the races. I'm bringing the car up to Buttonwillow for Friday track day only since it's the first time I'll have the car on the track. Friday is good for 7/8 hours and it's free. I just want to make sure the car is ready to go and bribe the safety crew to get an inspection before spending $1550 for the entery fee. After that, I plan to do the other CA races Sanoma and Thunder Hill. If you're interested call me 858-243-6944
Or email stv--48@hotmail.com

Buttonwillow does charge for the track day tomorrow.  Minimum is $200 for 1/2 day one driver.
