I never met the guy, but I watched many of his videos....seemed like a nice guy and amazing driver

That is really sad to hear.  He was at SEMA a few months ago and my son and I got to meet him.  While I only got to spend about 45 seconds with him, he seemed genuine and like a great guy.  The line was long, so before we got to the front, I saw him interact with a bunch of people and he was nothing but accommodating and friendly.
