Topic: Rally points?

Any way to get the scores/points for the Rally?

I got back from the New England Fall Fail-age, and had tons of fun, and really tried hard to get points, but knowing we would not win since we were not trying as much as some of the other teams
But it really would be nice to see how many points we got total, and what we got for extra credit, and how we ranked compared to other teams, and how other teams did, and which teams did not finish, etc.
Kind of defeats the purpose of trying to post photos and get points for stuff on the Rally if we get no recognition for our efforts....

Re: Rally points?

the link is on the Lemons Rally instagram page,

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ … RyFdU/edit

but beware that they don't tally the results for the last day for most teams, only those in the running for the top trophies. I think that is just because it is extra work that doesn't really need to be done. And it's not really important to teams...unless you take this shit way too seriously  smile

$500 per team, you'd think they (Lemons) would take it seriously. Guess they're just lazy when Sunday rolls around... (can't says I blame them cool )

Re: Rally points?

Thanks for the link!

you'd be surprised how serious and competitive some teams were at the rally!  They were really out there to win it, and having fun!

We were not out to win, but we did really try for some extra credit points....I guess that was just a waste of time...It would have been nice to see the credit for some of the relatively funny, silly posts we made
Maybe to be completely transparent, they should just inform people that they should not even bother posting anything on Instagram for points, if they are not going to try to win.  I did not know they will only tally the top teams and disregard the rest
We don't take any of the Lemons Rally or Races seriously, but part of the fun and challenge is the journey.
And,looks like the point tally was not very accurate either...we posted stuff regarding stuff we did on Friday, but got no credit.
For $500 entry fee, seems like someone could do the work...

Request: have a better system of keeping track of points for each team at each rally

Are there any SmugMug photos posted of the race?
