This is a bit far, but since they do shipping it might help you out:
We got a weld-it-yourself cage from CSC Racing in Newmarket, Ontario last year. It ended up being about $340CDN after shipping. We had some issues with it fitting, but I attribute that to us being new at installing roll cages. Also, ours was ERW. I don't know how much more it would cost if we got DOM.
Anyway, I recommend them: http://www.cscracing.com/ckboth.html. They customize each order, so you can modify 201-1 and add rear braces, etc.
Hope this isn't too much of a hijack, but has anyone looked at custom cages, for a car for which no one sells a ready-made version? what's the price range of something like this? I don't have nearly enough faith in my minimal tube-bending and marginal welding skills to even think about trying this at home.
I'm not in the cage making business but I've been told that the cages that are in our cars would easily have run $1500 to $2000 (custom bent and complete installation) for the work that we did.
I can recommend a place in West Chester, PA (West of Philadelphia) that does cages if you can't find any place closer to you.
Kalpol,
I've talked to Bumbera's in Houston. They did some cages for Lemons cars for supposedly around $800.
I spent about that much doing ours between the kit, some additional tubing and tools.
