Topic: Squirrels of Fury II Audi 4000

Well I'm here to tell the story of the used Audi 4000 we picked up at the THUNDERHILL'S ARSE-FREEZE-APALOOZA.  It was only $50 as it says on the hood.

and this side even looks nice!

but the car did have a run in with the front wall on the other side.

here is the vidio on that. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jalopnik/s … 175945314/

Any way we got it home and started pulling fenders off with the truck to get a better look at how crapy this crap can was.

after much talking and looking it over we made the call to pull the 5cyl and put in a 4 banger (because I had a guy ask me if I wanted a free ABA 2.0 with a shit ton of miles on it).  So we tore out the engine tanry and sub frame.  and I went out in the yard to see what I had sitting around for parts

stuffed in between a Rabbit and a Rabbit and under the tall grass I found a 1980 audi 4000 engine trany struts and sub frame so we slaped it on an old hood and pull it out where we could snag the parts needed to put the POS back on the road.

So.... with all those cars at your disposal, why not just run one of them? I'd love to run that Scirocco you have sitting there.. Where are you located anyway?
