Topic: Saab 96 - SF North Bay - $100 (typo?)

Coming on the heels of the first PV544 in LeMons (wish I'd been there - or better yet in an alternate universe picked one up the season after the K and run it), here's another potential IoE candidate:

Recipe:

1.  Buy this.
2.  Cage it.
3.  Get spare industrial Ford V4 engine for good luck.
4.  Drive.
5.  'Win' IoE.

Re: Saab 96 - SF North Bay - $100 (typo?)

The price sounds too low to be true, but it all depends upon the truth hidden within the last line of the description:

"Photo is of same type car but not mine."

Besides, I'm not familiar with a "4-Bbl carb" setup for these. Factory is a single-barrel Solex and the 'hot' modification is a two-barrel Weber. I suppose it could have the incredibly rare Sport & Rally package for dual Weber side-drafts, but it seems unlikely anyone would describe that setup this way.
