Huh?  Software to bend?  Please elaborate.

Bend Tech sells software to let you map out your cage tubing and save a lot of wasted bends and hoops that are a few inches too short.  At $5.00 a foot, DOM isn't something you want to be scrapping!  It gives you cut lengths and bend start measurements for each bend on your part.  I went with the Bend Tech EZ since I'm cheap and don't need the 3D aspect like Chris does.  Only made one hoop so far, but love the software and can see it being essential to our cage build!

EZ handles simple planar bends.  EZ3D can handle out of plane bends.  Pro allows you to design assemblies.  I bought Bend Tech Pro and love it.

I got the 3D version, worth every penny.  Makes it super easy to do the front downtubes and get really close to the chassis.

You may have a great product but I really do not like spam. Of course you are welcome to offer our team a free bender and we would be happy to offer our thoughts on its quality so you don't have to.

your product seems nice, but why can't i find a simple price on any of it. even an MSRP would be a great starting point to let me decide if i want to track down a distributor.

Whenever I don't find prices posted, I assume that "if you have to ask, you can't afford it", and then go elsewhere.

I like Baileigh tools,  but a one line ad like that isn't going to help them sell any. It'll just piss people off.   The Baileigh catalogue is my version of the dog-eared wishbook...  I read it and dream....

I haven't seen Tube-Tek mentioned.  When I was shopping earlier this year, this appeared to be far and away the best bang for the buck.  Worked great.  No one on our team had ever done a cage before, and only had a few years of welding experience.  We "hired" our local friend and cage guy to come and give some advice for an afternoon.  Cage turned out beautiful!  Took a heck of a lot of time though.

http://tubetek.net/ -- was like $440 shipped with 1.75x6.5 die and degree wheel.  Added a HF hydraulic ram and mounted it to my workbench.

Not bad for a bunch of first-time-cage-builders, I might say smile

Looks worse than it is because the pic is taken from the ground.  The "mini-fia" bars are actually pretty far forward, and the door bars are bent out pretty far.  We put the A-pillar bar as far forward as possible because we wanted those A-pillar reinforcements in there.

Here's a better pic of ingress.  Sorry I didn't mean to hijack the thread to show off our cage!!!  But we are pretty proud of our work....

Re: Going to Buy a Roll Cage Tubing Bender

That is a nice looking cage.  And that bender is a nice price- plus they're located in Asheville, about 45 minutes from my house.  The soon-to-be Mrs and I will be honeymooning in the Asheville area, perhaps we might swing by there to check it out...

Pretty much my take on the situation.  Also when she says, "You know that '49 Plymouth that's sitting in our yard?  That would be an awesome getaway car for the wedding.  I'll do all the wedding planning and everything, you just go restore that car so we can drive it from the reception."  And then you spend every night for the next two months on a creeper, under a flathead six, drinking beer.

I'd be happy to have you be my Guinea pig.  The bender should be on y doorstep next week, I'm so excited I can't wait.  I even lined up a good local-ish source for DOM.

I only got the 1-3/4" die though...hope your cage is 1-3/4".
