Todays update from the weekend: I found out that an ABS brake booster will not work with a non ABS master cylinder, of course this was after about 20 minutes of my wife providing the leg muscle for the brake pedal which was not doing anything. I'll hear about that for awhile now.
But I did manage to get the booster replaced and the master cylinder and brakes bled. This was after I detailed the calipers and brackets
I also upgraded to the larger 95 brake rotors and pads
After fighting off all of the issues with the brake booster I turned to the clutch cylinder and tried bleeding the line only to find out that the fittings leaked going into the master clutch cylinder so I had to replace the hard line. After that everything seemed happy woo hoo. Now to install the driveshaft, easy peezy right? Nope!!! I replace the rear tranny seal and slide it in then line it up with the diff and slide in a couple of easy to reach bolts. Next I try and turn the shaft so I can get to the other bolts but it wont turn arrrggggg. Come to find out the tranny is locked in reverse. scouring the internet provides a fairly easy solution but time has run out so I have to leave it at that, until next time.
