Re: Themes you'd like to see done

FX is making things easy for you. Fan of "Archer"? Remember the episode when Pam was revealed to be a street racer and drifter?  Well now you can outfit your team in their pit crew jumpsuits and hats:

Or just the T-shirts

Re: Themes you'd like to see done

Considering how many cars Speedycop and his crew bring, i think they should bring 5 cars, all done up as each of the voltron lions, and bring them in to BS judging connected to each other as some giant Lemons mecha-gundam transformer galaxy savior monster thing.

that would pretty much rule.

^^^ You know the Voltron thing has merit.

We have been considering puting a giant electrical plug on the front of one of our cars.    Of course our other car would be a have a giant wall socket in the back.

On track hijinx ensues.  hmm

Re: Themes you'd like to see done

I want to get a Cimarron, cut the roof off, paint it white; that would REALLY make the Fear and Loathing in Lemons theme. Or a two car team with a red Cavalier and a Cimarron (is that redundant?).

But that's someday after I nuke the Merkur.

You're not thinking about this correctly. Why the hell would you buy a real convertible? are you planning on racing with the top up at some point? Buy any 2 door, or even a 4 door and cut the damn roof off. Its not going to make a bit of difference once you weld the doors shut and put a roll cage in it.

Of course if you buy a 4 door Impala you really need to do the Judge Phil tribute car

Re: Themes you'd like to see done

Why do the Impala anyway when you can have a Cadillac? More importantly 8+ liters of front wheel drive Cadillac

It doesn't matter what car you use, as long as it's an affirmation of everything right and true and decent in the national character. So make it as excessive as humanly possible.

Re: Themes you'd like to see done

I did a search, and shockingly the following word has never appeared on the forums.

TROMA
It's time for Team Troma!  I'm willing to bet that Lloyd Kaufman would heartily endorse, hell, even drive for an enthusiastic east coast team.

Any film company with the artistic foresight to hire Lemmy Kilmeister and Ron Jeremy for (legit?) roles in their films is deserving of Lemons attention.  Troma gave us the first superhero from New Jersey!

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1f/Surf_Nazis.jpghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b2/Toxic_avengerposter.jpghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/4d/Troma%27s_war_poster.jpghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/ac/Classofnukemhigh.jpg

The opportunity for irreverence is off the charts.

Think of it this way, if Troma could jumpstart Kevin Costner's or Marisa Tomei's career, maybe imitating them could... get... you... well.
Um.
Well a hell of a lot of notoriety in Lemons!

For those of you too oblivious or lazy to type "Troma" into youtube:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Vt5G3sC7aI

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Re: Themes you'd like to see done

Hmm. 5 car theme, based on some transformer-esque crap I've never heard of? It could work!
Problem is, I have years worth of as-yet unused theme ideas floating around already.
All it takes is time and money.
I have neither right now. sad
