still trying to track down a season 2 locally.
For a while they were selling full Poovey Farms team outfits from the "Drift Problem" episode where it is revealed that Pam is an underground street racer with ties to the Yakuza, or Triad or something.

My wife and I had this exact conversation last night. She is pretty well sold on putting a cage in her Miata, and we are doing Poovey Farms, even though Pam drives what looks like an RX-2 in that episode.
In a related note, check the cop cars next time you watch. They look mighty similar to our Fairlylame.
There needs to be a Pinto Sportiva theme!
jeez, it's the bastard offspring of a Pinto and an X1/9...
Parappa the Rapper
All you need is a Yellow Ford LTD with a "U-DRIVE-U" sign, the costumes are a police uniform with a skirt (Instructor Mooselini) and a Orange beanie, blue vest, black jeans and red sneakers (PaRappa)

Need moar Jetsons car with authentic sound effect.

Then one of you can wear one of these outfits too:
Aztec Aztek?
If anyone in SoCal wants to try it I can hook you up with my friend Lazaro Arvizu (in the middle, holding shield) - best Aztec costume maker and dance teacher around, and fortunately has a sense of humor... No way you won't win for presentation, even if the Aztek doesn't run long enough to get IOE.

Has anyone painted their car up as "...not Penske material"?
How about the Car and Driver folks recreating their legendary '70s racing project, the 59¢ Special:
According to the article in the November '76 issue, they ran this $225 '65 Rambler 660 in the Bomber class at the Freeport, L.I. Speedway and racked up a stellar record of a 7th, a 10th and two DNFs. There are a few beater Ramblers still floating around out there; maybe they could improve on that record?

Oddly enough the oval track at Willow Springs still had a few stock cars of this era racing around it this past weekend. I believe I spotted 2 64-67 Chevy Chevelles out there.
Forgot to mention one of C&D's competitors at Freeport - a '63 Dodge 330 coupe named High School Equivalency Special.
Some Lemons team ought to bring that name back.
