Any theme that is not derived from something else and yet is entirely understandable with little or no explaination.

I want me a Raptor (F-22A). I want me a Raptor with twin vectoring nozzles, twin canted vertical tails, and an aerodynamics boom on the front, all spiffied up. Pretty paint and everything.

How about an F-35? Part of the theme can be to come in ridiculously overbudget yet still woefully unprepared come race weekend.

On it.
Although unless I can get an underage driver waver, I'll probably have to wait another ~14 years before I can let the little man take the wheel.

That should have been called "Parade Of IOE Contenders."

Damn, that's brilliant. Plus you'd only need 1 nozzle.
In my sillier moods, I ponder what it would take to make the control surfaces move according to the driver's steering inputs, and the nozzle move with the throttle inputs.

I mean, a few strings and pulleys, can't be that hard.

So, I painted my last 944 like this bunny:
It got wrecked.
So, someone needs to clear Theo Bunny's good name!
(Yeah, yeah, we did a bunny theme before, but...still. It deserves to be redone by an all-dude team to balance out our girly lilac bunny.)
Re: Themes you'd like to see done
Here's a good theme idea: "Speed enforced by drone"
http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2013/0 … -highways/
Build a predator drone on top of your car, fire nerf missiles or something.
Rotaries are great, everyone should try them.

You've all seen the new Ruffles commercials, right?
Anyone got a 70s Mopar, with window louvers?
Re: Themes you'd like to see done
I was wondering if it would be possible to fly a kite behind a car. Well, maybe a slow car, or a fast kite, but the faster you go the more line it lets out, slower, less, until the kite is only a few feet back when stopped.
Wouldn't work at Thunderhill or tracks with bridges or power lines over the track.
Yea, and while not exactly a theme, and not "dangerous homemade technology", but novel.
And as for drones, there is a small Colorado town that offers a bounty on drones its citizens shoot down, so there's a theme idea.

How dare you call Hoyt Axton a Jerry Reed wannabe! Although if you want to rag on him for writing that idiot "Joy to the World" earworm, I'm with you.
Bayley, as for the Mark V, you could cover it with rhinestones and call it an Ultimate Diamond Jubilee Collector's Edition...

That town(Deer Trail) just happens to be near High Plains Raceway, too.

It is sad that Hunter S Thompson died before this came to pass. I'm sure he'd be all over shooting at drones with a high caliber pistol at Owl Ranch.

Not sure if this would be a theme or dangerous homemade technology, but it would probably have been welcomed at Button Turible.

I was wondering how long a Carlos Danger theme would take.
The Anthony Weiner-mobile. Driven by Carlos Danger. Team must show up in briefs with appropriately placed socks or cucumbers or what have you.
