I believe it was built by Pratt Whitney guys after hours. I think they used their wind tunnel too.

Well, the CEO of Qualcomm just dismissed 8-core processors as "dumb," saying, "You can't take eight lawnmower engines, put them together and now claim you have an eight-cylinder Ferrari. It just doesn't make sense."

Not sure you could get enough HP from 8 lawnmower engines, but I don't really know anything about them.  Possible?

IIRC, there was some discussion along these lines before, but there's no way in hell I'll ever find it in the past or remember the details beyond it being crazy, impractical, and virtually impossible...

...thereby making it one of the agreed-upon staples of being Something Someone Should Do.

Not that impossible if you start with something like a Chevy S10 with lots of room in the back for lawnmower motors. Chain drive them all together in 2 rows then devise a chain drive to each rear wheel?

Back in the day, I worked with him.  In celebration of our new phone showing life, he invited us to his house for pizza.  It was hilarious to hear his side of the conversation when he called his wife:

Its kind of weird that the OJ slow speed chase is one of those moments that everyone remembers where they were for it.

A couple buds and I were driving from Houston to the Dallas area on that day, it was the same day that one of the Houston Rockets games was played when they were on their way towards the NBA Championship.  We were pumped to be able to listen to the game on the radio on the way up.  Coverage of the game was preempted by RADIO coverage of the Low Speed Chase.
