In honor of the Winter Olympics, how about dressing the car up like a curling stone?  You can use the brooms to "curl" the car into tech and around the paddock. Better yet, get the Russian women's team...

Would it be dumb to theme your car, as your car?  I just finished a YouTube rabbit-hole that had me watching tons of 1980's Nissan commercials for the Z.

Man, those things were awesome, kinda makes me want one, only to realize I have one and it's a POS rustbucket that is.  "Come alive, come and drive, Major Motion from Nissan!", "Come and drive the New Awesome", "Computerized, Digitized, Civilized . . . This sport scar is aaawesomaah"  all seems a bit vapid some 30 years on. 

I know Z-Wrecks did the anniversary Z which was cool but the 50'th anniversary car was lame by comparison (at least in paint scheme).  Maybe a Paul Newman 1984 Road America theme?  The script and announcer in these is pure 1980's awesome.

It was the 1966 Chevelle that was supposedly 7/8th scale, and also driven without a fuel tank. Smokey always claimed that his Chevelle didn't fit the templates just as much as everyone else's didn't.

Both Phil and Jay both said to my face that if I brought a VEGA they wouldn't care what I  stuffed under the hood. Also most Lemons budget smallblocks will die long before the end of the race.
