Looking for a team (Los Angeles area)

Hi - I'm looking to get involved with a team in and around the Los Angeles area. I'm in Sylmar 91342. Crew, prep, drive.
I've long wanted to be part of a racing team and always thought it wasn't in the cards until I ran across Lemons!

I grew up in a hot rodder's garage and have always enjoyed all sorts of cars.

Bled brakes with dear ol' dad as soon as I could press down on a pedal and follow directions.
In that garage I developed amateur welding skills, learned what the BFH was and when to use it, wrenching, and all the things...

I did lots of work in my teens on my first two cars 1974 MGB and a 1968 Mercury Cougar.

Spent alot of time, effort and money on a Fox body Mustang in my 20's.
Bolted on plenty of parts, including engine performance stuff, suspension, exhaust, etc.
Even did a complete engine swap on that car on my own.

Spent some time karting in my 30's. 

Have about a dozen years of real world pursuit driving experience.

I have a pretty flexible schedule and can contribute to the team.
