Just 3. Not a lot to be proud of here...

Heh, I remember watching your car die right there, and trying to start and move it about 30 times before giving up.

I was trying to see how far I could get on the starter motor. At one point I even shifted to second, and made it across the finish line! Then decided to keep going, as it were...

But aren't you glad it was documented? ;-)

Oh yes! In 200 years historians will have a hard time understanding ANY of this.
(Jkfoto of both Stick Figure and Yee-haw-clown fame took that great photo by the way!)
One and done for the Wartburg. I owed y'all a race with it but to be honest Im too physically and emotionally invested in the car to risk it again. And its on its way to being....gasp....pretty.
Still I kinda want to do one more with it fully sorted to really prove what it can do. It certainly wasnt the rolling chicane everyone expected.
But we have the new, long term, car preparing to enter the shop for its bastardization so ya cant get rid of us...we're like herpes.
The Bright orange Mustang of Rokkerz in Dokkerz has run 5, if you count one Chumpcar.
We have had nothing but a great time at all the Lemons races whether we are racing or broken and trying to get running again. Jay and the rest have built a great event that I hope to continue racing in.Stu3
You don't count Chump Car

That sounds dangerously close to reneging on a bet. I don't mean to be a harda$$ or anything, but wasn't that sort of the promise made by entering the contest?
Get ye to Joliet!

Negative, it ran Lemons. We were at Summit and took IOE with the old girl. We just arent coming back for more Well not with this car, we have the mutant MG beginning work as soon as we get back from GRM. Picking up the drivetrain donor tomorrow.

I was hoping you would pick up that v10 truck engine someone had listed in the parts forum for that MG
Two - one with a broken engine, one with, um, a record number of penalties. Two more coming up in a few weeks!!
note to others: damn, all those courses on being polite finally paid off!
