Oooh, '77 or '78? Hard to tell without the original stripe on it. A '77 was my first car. Beat the ever-loving snot out of it; it didn't care.

My first car, still drive it occasionally although I am considering giving it the Lemons treatment, it's just getting too old. Autocrossed, rallycrossed, drift events and whatever else I could do to it has been done, jumps and top speed runs at bonneville included. It's not a fast car but for some reason doing any kind of performance driving in it is just too fun. I remember the first time I hit an autocross in it, people said it was like living in a 70's cop chase movie. Even when I drive the miata I still end up missing this car in some way. It always seems to come back for winter beater duties.
The turbo 1990 miata, used for autocrossed, more recently drift events, and whatever else. It has been stuck in the garage for a while now, the style bar is gone and a lot has changed.
As much as I like cars, I haven't owned many, and I've even gone years at a time without a car, but here goes:

Got like 20 stories/diary /fact of a street sweeper .I'm a loser .
Fact every Real World on MTV had a street sweeper footage .
I had a Street Sweeper company. During the busy season I would drive that everywhere I went in case I got a call for a Job . RHD and LHD RHD is fun when people tailgate and then pass you and you roll up to stoplight next to them and stare at them or knock on there window ,freaks them out.
Sweeper had chrome parts and 200w stereo and a top speed of 45 mph on flat grounds
made $75 to $125 an hour
Fact -Crazy street traffic rule/law after 1 am was allowed to drive opposite way down road when sweeping. Right when the drunks are leaving bar .
One Time a drunk came towards me and I was on opposite side of road and he jumped the curb and drove down sidewalk.
One time I was next to Highway 99 in Modesto ,ca. and was cleaning upa 3 acre lot that was a burned up pallets .So when cleaning this up I was using water for dust control not enough though. It looked like there was a fire with all the dark dust and was listening to radio and the DJ said there was a fire off 99 so I called the radio staion and told DJ no fire just me . After that job I looked like a chimney sweep guy.
My street I lived on was really clean.
I drove a street sweeper with a buddy to saskaatewan Canada that was interesting in itself drove thru Yellowstone and told the rangers we got called to clean up after that big Geyser.
The worst thing about driving the sweeper is you drive everywehere looking in the gutters haven't driven one in 10 years and still watch the gutter.
Between living in Orlando FL and Des Moines IA I have amassed a large vehicular history

Whereabouts in Orlando do you live? I'm over by UCF and always up for a beer and some racing jibber-jabber....
408+Good Homes rd pretty much. I frequent Waterford Lakes though...
I'm only 19, so not much in the way of auto history, but
1978 Chevy Bonanza C20 (2wd, longbed)
1991 Geo Storm GSi (32mpg, 225000 miles still goin)
*turned 16, got license*
1996 Ford Mustang GT (head swap was first experience working on cars, did by myself with chilton's manual)
1995 Mazda Miata (tried to kill me on tuesday)
My dad bought the Chevy new back in 1977 when he was building houses in missouri. He sold it to his dad when he moved to California back in the 80's and it sat in the barn for 20 years, occasionally coming out for ranch duty. In 2006 my dad and sister flew out to missouri and drove it back to California along route 66- it only had 72,000 original miles. I live in the country and used it to put around before I had my license. The mustang is my daily driver in South Carolina, where I'm going to college; the Miata and Geo (dad's old commute car) trade off daily driver duties here in Cali.
Let's see here....previous cars, in order of ownership:
90 Cherokee Laredo
91 Talon TSI AWD
96 240sx
93 Civic Hatchback
97 Accord Wagon
07 Civic Si Sedan
99 Miata
Current:
03 Forester (good all around car/truck/beater/etc)
74 Jensen Healey Roadster (recently acquired project)
98 Golf (Lemon in training)
Not too bad since I've only been driving 9 years, but I have to say it would have been significantly more had I not gotten married. She made me realize that the taxes/transfer fees alone are a bit ridiculous, so I'm trying to focus on "buy and hold"
That said, anyone want a 74 Jensen Healey project? ?
UPDATE:
RIP King... RIP
Hmm, streeters. My hands down favorite is my 1987 Chrysler Conquest. This used to serve as my daily driver when I was in college and has now been sidelined as my weekend autocross/rallycross toy. Regardless, it hauled me all the way from Wichita, KS, down to Houston, TX, for the February Gator-O-Rama.
My much much tamer daily is a 2004 Chevy Malibu. Bone stock, autocrossed once. Trail brakes very nicely.
94 300ZX 2+2 + tree = dead
92 300ZX slicktop + oil starvation = dead
92 slicktop on the left, 94 2+2 on the right. The white one belonged to my friend Tony who sold it to my friend Kevin, who wrecked it... so no cars in this photo are alive today.
I drive but don't own the Rice Rocket Racing 83 280zx. 85 mph + racing incident = pit maneuver -> gymnastics routine on the dirt outside of turn 8 at Thunderhill = dead.
