Topic: Driver/mechanic/welder

Hi someone told me about this race series at a random car show here in Arizona last weekend. i been looking into it all week and would like to find a team. i can do some basic mechanics i have worked on mostly old cars/trucks. i can do some basic welding (my dad just retired as a welder 38 years) i might try to rope him into this as well. Driving wise ive done some drag racing in the past but no road courses. im located in arizona but would have no problem flying out or driving out for events.

im 36 years old and run marathons in my current free time but as those injuries keep piling up looking for a new sport to join.

Re: Driver/mechanic/welder

Cool! Welcome to the gaggle.

We've got a team of four already, but we always can use extra help and expertise.

We also may be doing the 24-hour race in Colorado this year, which would require 6 drivers.

Our car is actually ready to go for the Willow Springs race in 2 weeks (which will almost certainly be cancelled), so not a ton of wrenching right now or perhaps at all before May.

Shoot me a private message if you want to try to coordinate sometime and maybe come by on a wrench day.

Thanks!
