They used to do it in Fla for awhile too, was even on TV for a bit.

The schoolbus figure 8 is weaksauce....

Figure 8 chain race (with buses) is where its at.  Cant find any video of the buses doing it but this should give you an idea

You need to catch "Lucas Oil: On The Edge" on the Speed channel.  They cover all kinds of fringe motorsports events.  From Snowmobile drag racing across a pond (yet snowmobiles on water), to tough truck racing, to autocross (not the kind with cone, think motocross with cars), to car soccer, to car roller derby, to school bus races and they even covered one of the Lemons events.
