Here it is, for the grand sum of $100.
I got some very odd looks towing this down the PA turnpike tonight. We have two weeks. Does anyone have a spare Evinrude/Johnson or Mercury for us????!!?

Has the other portion of said fun been stripped down yet?
It has. Cage is built, suspension is mostly together, kill switch is in, etc. By the end of tomorrow it will only need brake pads and a fire bottle and the underlying bits will be race ready, they just need to boat to be attached.
Today we completely deconstructed the boat: what a ridiculous freaking mess. 
All of the wood in the boat was completely rotted away, it was a foul, putrid, primordial ooze below the floorboards. We spent lots of time with the sawzall, it is now completely stripped.
Tomorrow, we finish up the suspension, and start cutting out the bottom of the boat. We need to reinforce the sides with some wire to keep it from coming apart if it gets hit. THen we need to make the support structure to hold it all up.
Spank: It was! Now that we have removed all of the trapped water/ooze/nastiness, along with all of the completely water logged wood, it is getting much lighter. Be the time we cut out the bottom, we only expect it to add 400 lbs or so. We will find out when we try to lift it.
Lemme tell ya, words can't do it justice. It's freakin' awesome! I'll let Sonic fill all the fun details in, but we got the "boat" mounted onto the truck yesterday. Once the floor...or the soggy remains thereof...were removed from the boat, it wasn't extraordinarily heavy. We didn't lift it up and over the top of the truck, we did it "Pacman" style. Let the rear of the boat sit on the ground and raised the front up high, then rolled the truck back and lowered the boat. Well, that's the Cliff notes version anyhow.
We'll need to pick up a cheap a$$ bottle of champagne and christen it at NJMP.
Guess ya'll couldn't find a bay boat way up here. I still stand by I thoughts that would be sweet too! 
But I want to see this thing! That will be sweet!
Umm.....you are keeping the boat steering arent you? Can you have two drivers and put a steering axle on the rear of this?

OK, here's a good update.
We have previously prepared the underlying S10: Cage, wheels, bigger brakes from a Blazer, etc. Here is what it looked like:
Friday, we picked up the boat, as seen above.
We had a lot of deconstructing to do. Here is what we started with inside
We started removing all of the trim, then the carpet, and then the 4 layers of completely rotten wood and glass floor.
After lots of cutting with the Sawzall, and with the floor removed, we had a disgusting mess of 40 years of stagnant water, fish blood, beer piss, foam, and completely rotten wood
After plenty of measurements, we started to cut
Sawzalls are fun
Once it was all cut out, we moved it into position, out next to the truck
We moved it onto the lawn, then put it behind the truck and up on jackstands, ready to swallow the truck, pacman style
Then there was a long series of lift, cut, lift, cut, lift cut
And, here is how we ended the day:
That was the easy part. Now we have to actually make sure that the boat doesn't fly off at speed, more theming, and lots of small details. More to come.
We are super excited with how this turned out, just like we envisioned in those drunken stupors. The themes are the most fun. Look out for paddock water skiing on rollerblades, etc.

Well, the boat is as ready as it is going to get. The total testing time is driving it around my block once, which got a lot of looks, but at least we know that it goes forward and backward, 1st and 2nd gears work, stops, and turns left.
