Topic: Thunderhill "Special Notes" question

I can run headlights, provided the are taped
Can I also run the stock tailights / brake lights, provided those are also taped?

SPECIAL NOTES: This race can be rainy and gloomy, so headlights are allowed. If
you choose to run lights, be ready to cover or tape them until
conditions mandate

Re: Thunderhill "Special Notes" question

We've had the stock tail lights on our E30 covered in clear tape for 2 races.

Re: Thunderhill "Special Notes" question

I thought all glass had to be removed to prevent it from getting on the track??  But taped should work...

Re: Thunderhill "Special Notes" question

That is correct if we are running on a NASCAR sanctioned track. On the road race tracks glass, lights and tail lights are fine but must be covered in clear tape.

Somebody correct me if i got it wrong

Re: Thunderhill "Special Notes" question

Yeah, you can keep the stock front and rear lights in place provided they are well taped over.
