Andrew Mason (former Groupon CEO) released an album of "motivational business music."
It's all a pretty good joke. Mason interned at Electrical Audio a decade or so ago, where he clearly learned from famously jaded musician/engineer Steve Albini not only how to record, but also how to craft elaborate and clever jokes.
I was trying to find the best YouTube recording of Prokofiev's 7th piano sonata yesterday, and I've had the 3rd movement stuck in my head since then. Today I found out it was used in the intro to Gran Turismo 5, performed by Lang Lang. Racing and classical music collide.
