For some reason, I feel the need to bolt a mannequin riding a razor scooter to the roof. Perhaps getting into a severe accident with a speedo-wearing mannequin riding a Vespa.

... Now I just need two mannequins, a Vespa, a razor scooter and a speedo.

I like the train idea.  We need to come up with a standard for tracks, everyone build 20 feet or so of track and a carriage to be pulled.  I'm sure someone can figure out the locomotive...

This thread is why Lemons is so damn cool. Instead of whineing about the rules everyone is looking for a way to be just as irresponsible and dangerous within the rules.

Re: well that sucks...

How about something like this..

Use wagons as shuttles and "launch" them back and forth across the complex with large sling shots made from garage door springs.

You can use a winch to pull the springs back since the rule covers motors in moving vehicles.

Yep.  Hence the cars.  I can't wait to see the next round, though I am very sad to see the last one go.  What with the race motor on one of the pit bikes now.

Re: well that sucks...

Back in the 80's or 90's there used to be bicycle racing at Sears Point. Think we can get  Lemons HQ to allow a Pedal Powered vehicle race on the track? Sears point would be tough with large vehicles & the hills but Buttonwillow would be great.

Tired Iron Racing, Class A Winner of 2023 Days of Thunder & the Hooptie-Con Engine heat Cooking Competition, otherwise just a 50x loser, which is somehow able to finish in the top ten, if we don't step on our own dicks.

The only experience that I have on track at Lime Rock was racing road pedal bikes there in the late 80-early 90's.  The downhill was fun.

Ahhhh, memories.

My first real, non-fixed gear, non-training wheel bike. I remember being momentarily thrilled and then disappointed because it wasn't a real BMX bike like all my friends had. It was awkward and clumsy looking. Much like myself.
I rode the hell out of that thing.
Fixed it up and gave it to a little kid from a poor family I know about 6 years ago. 30 years after originally getting it.
