Topic: Anyone in the Waco TX area? BMW assist needed.

My son seems to have defied all logic and upbringing and purchased a 2003 BMW 3xx something.

It sounds like there is a vacuum leak from what he describes.  I would be forever grateful if somebody can jet over and help him out.  He has almost zero experience w/ a wrench, ... college kid.

I can't help him a bit, but I can tell you how fast he should run.  My 2002 5xx something cost as much in parts over two years as I paid for the thing.
Every bit of rubber or plastic under the hood was falling to pieces.  All the electronic gismos were failing one at a time too.
Run like hell.

Apparently my name is really "Craigers".  Who knew?

By help him I'm assuming you mean convince him to sell it and instead buy this http://waco.craigslist.org/cto/3629990669.html

That has some serious back seat room. You could get seriously laid in that thing.
