Topic: Le Mans

Which is like Lemons but the cars go slightly faster. Anybody been following? All of the classes should be pretty good, especially LMP2.

Except Lotus. They got screwed. Jay should FedEx them an I Got Screwed trophy.

I threw together some links that I've been using to keep tabs on the hoopla so far this week and into this weekend:

Re: Le Mans

Oh yeah, I follow Le Mans every year. (Except for last year, when they scheduled it to conflict with Capitol Offense. Why doesn't the ACO work these scheduling details out with Jay & Co. ahead of time??) I don't camp out of the couch for 24 hours, but I do have the live timing going for 24 hours, and check in for stretches throughout the day.

I like your guide, particularly the recommendation to turn down the sound on whatever video you're watching and listen to Radio Le Mans. John Hindhaugh's giddy enthusiasm for sports car racing is infectious. Wouldn't it be cool to have him broadcast a Lemons race sometime? smile Come to think of it, has anyone ever invited him to Lemons?
