Topic: Aspiring team for Southern Discomfort

Well, i saw someone else announce their intention of racing so here is our letter of intent. 

We are Team Villain Racing from Asheville, NC and have purchased a '91 Prelude Si AWS with the hopes of getting accepted.  Like other teams we needed to go ahead and start working on the car due to our "real lives" getting in the way.  Our concept is based on the Wacky Races of Saturday morning cartoon fame.  Most of us have some high speed driving experience but never on a track.  We are going to hop up the car with missiles, and booster rockets.  Maybe even an automatic oil slick unit that originates from the head.  Anyway we have posted some pictures on a web site and a facebook site too.  Here are the link to them if anyone would like to see.

I think we talked to you guys at the Fall event.  We had the Red 89 Prelude.  That's a nice looking car!!!  Alot of those pics bring back memories smile

Magnum PU! Good to hear from you.  Yep this is us.  Still working on the cage and exterior artistic mods but it should be good.  Keeping our fingers crossed.

Well, we hope it holds up and is an advantage.  If it blows, we lock it in place and hope it stays.  lol

Yes, a Dick or two might be seen walking around between driving shifts.  We promise to keep the Dick attitudes off the track.  We searched and searched for a car worthy of transforming into a Mean Machine but they were all just a little too expensive.

I really wanted to do this theme, but all my teammates were too young to know what I was talking about.  Makes a guy feel old.  Seems like just yesterday that I was the one that had no clue what the old guys were saying.
