Since I have a Maxima and am a Nissan guy, I'm going to point out a few things.

BS Laps can cost someone a victory.  10 laps are less than 1 Black Flag penalty.  If you realize 10 BS factor laps are fatal, maybe you now realize 1 penalty is too.  Unless everyone else gets a Penalty too which was pretty much the case at Thunderhill.  So if you would have stayed out of trouble, you could have overcome your BS laps.

4th Gen Maximas are glorified Quest Mini Vans.  They have a solid rear axle.

Yes guys mod Maximas as seen on Maxima.org. 

I've got a 3rd gen 4DSC with lots of suspension upgrades.  It has 4 wheel independent suspension and it's just okay.  Far from the E36 I sold instead of the Maxima.

There are more cheap suspension parts for the 4th gen than the 4DSC 3rd gen.

So since all you guys now consider 4th gen Maximas bad ass ringers, here are a few cheap ones:

Don't get my wrong, I'm known for long winded posts but I don't think I have bitched endlessly about about getting screwed by the Judges.

Regarding locking up the brakes, I thought 4th gen Maximas all had ABS.

Which brings up another point, does SCCA driving school teach brake MODULATION?

This statement for the Booted post kind of offends me:

1.) Being an SCCA member doesn't mean you're a pro, did I say that? NO.  Though being an SCCA license holder member does require some more structured schooling and generally racing more competition prepared and faster cars, but a pro? nope, but there are pro SCCA drivers

We are running IT type cars here built on almost no budget and pounded on more in 1 weekend than a year in SCCA.  Fast laps in Lemons are not that far off Spec Miata times and we are on street tires not R comps.  Give us comparable tires and that could be real interesting.

One more thing to keep in mind, this is the same guy who wanted to race on 1 new tire and 3 used ones.  His all star driver was heavily discouraging that along with plenty of people on the forum.  Wouldn't a bunch of bad ass licensed and experienced SCCA drivers know, understand and want good tires?

If you are going to play the SCCA card, you should exemplify what you claim it represents and demonstrate some better freakin' car control!

You must not have any good spec miata drivers in your area, then, or your Lemons cars are much faster than they are here.  I had something like the 3rd or 4th fastest lap at Thunderhill this past weekend and it was more than 13 seconds off my best spec miata lap.
