This was when I had zero clue about why I was in the penalty box. Bonus: I couldn't really find pit out, and we weren't running a radio or anything that I could ask directions on. Fun times!

Our mascot Fluffy actually does most of our negotiations.

Somewhere there's a picture of Jay and/or Phil talking to me in the Penalty Box, but I can't find it currently. However, this photo of Nixon's ping-pong ball eyes gone crazy was shot during the same Penalty Box visit. Good luck sleeping tonight. (And yes, Nixon's face was mounted on a dirty old air filter).

Here's how negotiations work with the Parnelli Jones Galaxie.  Tempt judge with promise of full stint, judge lugs fire gear to NJMP from west coast, race car bursts into flames on pit in, judge walks away.  Job done.

Phil sweatin' the Focus guys at their first event... with this car.  He cut them a little slack when he learned that the team was at the Flat Rock Speedway race back in 2007.
