MIne is a 90 Miata.
1968 SAAB 96 V4 De Luxe.
98 Supercharged Buick Riviera
'08 Ram 3500 Diesel Dually because screw Priuses.
1991 galant vr4
282k miles strong
2002 Honda Odyssey or 2007 Toyota Prius
We live in the sticks and commute into the Chicago suburbs for work. The truck and toys stay at home most work days.
1996 Volvo 850 turbo wagon
I can haul almost anything in it, yet don't have to worry about theft
or the weather, unlike a pickup truck.
2004 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner
91 Nissan 240sx or 05 Dodge Caravan
96 Jaguar XJ12. Bought it cheap as a parts car for the Lemons car and it ended up being nicer than my regular DD.
Now that the Lemons XJ12 is broken, a dilemma exists.
1. Pull up my man panties, suck it up and fix the LeMon
2. Pull the motor from the DD and put it in the LeMon
3. Say eff it, scrap the LeMon and cage the DD.
I have to say that this hobby does make for interesting life choices.
2007 Tahoe, has removable third row in case minivan capacity is required for kids and fitted airbags for towing. Went to buy a pick up and came home with the Tahoe 2 years ago. No regrets so far.
Normally I carpool with my wife in her 2012 Dodge Caliber since she works a couple miles down the road from my work. On days that I have to drive I take my 2004 Silverado extended cab.
2000 GMC Sierra
or
2010 Nissan Alti...snore.....
Whichever one my wife isn't using that day.
Somehow the only cars I have left that aren't racecar involved are the one I bought for my wife. The truck is for her to haul gardening supplies from the nursery and the Altima is because it has heated seats.
Now that you made me think of this I am annoyed I don't have a car that is for me and that I like. Thanks a lot.
1985 Benz 300TD. Yes, my LeMon is ten years newer with 250% more power than my DD...
2011 M3
I have more fun on the track with my 86 325e
When it runs, a 2000 BMW 530i Wagon 5-Speed,
When that doesn't, a 1990 Range Rover.
When that doesn't, a 1962 Volvo 544,
When that doesn't, a 1967 Volvo 122s,
When that doesn't, the 1979 300SD Planet Express Lemons Car,
When that doesn't, my dad's Z3 Coupe.
...I drove the Z3 Coupe today.
2005 Dodge Neon SXT
Unless it's broken, then I drive whatever running project car I have taking up space., (currently a 1980 Audi 5000 diesel).
1995 F150 longbed 234k mi
2001 F150 shortbed 245k mi
2001 Miata 108k mi
Rotated according to weather, what I have to carry home, how much fuel is in each, and whether the *&#@! ball joints/tie rods/alignment/tires on the trucks are worth a crap this week.
1993 Volvo 940 wagon...because, well, nevermind, just because.
2005 Chevy Colorado Regular Cab, I5, 5sp, no interior options, 2" lowered factory sports package with sway bars, low profile 17" tires.
I ordered it new exactly like this. GM never really marketed this package, but its basically the Toyota S-Runner or X-Runner equivalent. I basically wanted something fun to drive when its empty, but able to haul motorcycles. I don't typically tow the race car with it, but I did last year for buttonwillow and it did just fine. About the only thing I've considered replaceing it with is the later version extended cab which came with a 300hp small block V8 from the factory.
95 M3 or 87 325es with a S52 and supercharged. During the summer, I get to drive an E30 M3 on nice days but the hard part is what color to choose red or white.
Right now, a light blue 1967 Volvo 122 4 door sedan.
When I have to haul something that won't fit in the sedan, a 1967 122 wagon.
And when I need to haul something bigger than will fit in the wagon, a 2000 F350 Powerstroke crew cab long bed.
Usually this:
One of the first 2010 Camaro SS built, ordered a year in advance.
Unless its snowing then this:
2000 GMC Sierra
or
2010 Nissan Alti...snore.....

I had that same problem, was driving my 03 dodge 2500 Diesel as a commuter, and decided I wanted something more fun. I bought a 97 328i sedan, and worked on it more than I drove it. Sold it and bought the miata. It's getting a turbo within the next couple months.
