You can lower it and add a skid plate to the oil pan.    Or if you want to go LAMBO just add a second pair of air shocks and push a button to jack it up in the transition stages...  do it.

I'm doing my best here trying to keep it safe, simple, and reliable.    I think those three goals are attainable.

It won't be the speediest car in the race but so far in the sub 2.4 class I only see a 2008 Renault Clio entered.   A Clio is French, wrong wheel fail, AND looks like a suppository!

Transmission is OUT! 
(WHY do Miata starters need 5 inaccessible bolts and a separate bracket to hold them in???)
Flywheel is resurfaced.
Pulled coolant hoses - good thing, the heater hoses were super shitty
Started exposing the timing belt.   Curse you main pulley!!!

Picked up a few more things:
Two G-Force Pull Up Style Camlock Harnesses.   Its important to be able to belt yourself in tight because no one will be there to give an extra yank.  Lol.   Yank.

If I go to ECR, it will be to spectate this time because I don't have a ride. 

I had to sell that aftermarket hard top locally for a quick $650 so I could get the OEM top when one popped up for sale.   I just didn't have enough cash around to make it happen any other way.   Not an intentional dick move.
