Any guidance on desired bribes?
Bring me Mopar 360 parts if you ever want to see the Magnum again (or for the first time...kidding, of course). Needs basically all of the non-Lean Burn bullshit (carb, distributor, etc.). Or if you have an old (but still good) battery laying around that is capable of turning a ridiculously heavy old V8 starter, then I'll take one of those. Or a Dodge Magnum/Chrysler Cordoba windshield.
Don't go buy any of that stuff. If you have it laying around unused like most Lemons types do, I'll take it.
Also, I like beer, Keith likes rum, and Steve doesn't drink.
Steve is one of judges? I SO need to be near the penalty box for that first guy that tries to argue with him. That spectacle is particularly entertaining if it is about speeding in the pits. You would think folks would look at him, look at the patches on that robe and know better...
Maybe we need a live feed from the penalty box to the console TV. I mean, we have record it all on high quality VHS for you to play back at home.

900 feet of coaxial cable surely can be had for nothing these days.

No signal loses I am sure.
Hmmm, might have that much lying around int he basement if I splice it all together.
67 cars, 8 of which are Volkswagens.
Hope you VW racers like apologizing to Prius owners.

67 cars...Is that an all time low for Autobahn?
Nope. The June 2012 race had 56 cars, two of which never finished a lap.
Eric, you doing a rusty hub or roadkill pre-race something?
In the "gap" between Joliet and Barber, get me a detailed list of what you know you need for the Magnum. I have a credible contact in Huntsville, AL that owes me big and his kid is a regular at the local yards. Remember, some places still have the Malaise era crapcans on the road because...no salt.
Should be plenty of room on the track with 67 cars. Stocked up on Spotted Cow for the judges this weekend.
67... Meh. We are two of them. Certainly more than the only MAM race which had like 34 cars. It was like we had the track to ourselves back then. This may not be that much different. Hope the weather is good.
I'll be at the track around 5pm Thursday. I'll probably hang out if anyone is around.

Not sure if I'll have a preview, although you might find a familiar automobile on Roadkill this week. I'll give you all the entry list I have, though:

I should have a shopping list for the Magnum before winter. The sludge under the valve cover is simply breathtaking. Or gut-wrenching. Probably both.
8 of which are Volkswagens.
and unfortunately, none of which EVER HAVE ANY SPARE VR6 PARTS THAT WE USUALLY NEED.

Hmmm...none have their engine in the back either. My the cosmos is telling you something?
Use Row52 and pre-identify VR6 cars at the Summit PnP. It is not that far away and they are normally open 9-7 unless winter hours have kicked in. Do the same for Hammond, IN though it is further away...we have been to both together in search of gen 3 Saturn parts.
Just think, if you swap in two 2.Slows... you already have the rear set up to accommodate. You may even get better gas mileage and Audi-like AWD. Everyone would have parts to share also.

Not a preview, but hopefully an entertaining read:

And we will gladly take on all Trans Am's that come to challenge! Our superior aerodynamics will win every time (occasionally).
Nice write-up.
Nuts hanging from your vehicle should incur penalty laps. It hasn't been funny for a long time. Now it's just creepy that a bunch of men, primarily, want swinging balls associated with their team and car.
Thanks for the scrotum but I'll pass. I have other interests.

Did Wally teabag you in the trailer at the 24 hr race?

That would explain him drinking all my craft beer -- to drown out that memory of Wally in action.

He was caught licking the feet of one of the young nephews while he slept...who knows what happened while I was asleep.
I was far from Wally. He might have teabagged one of my nephews, though. He was caught licking their feet while they slept.
It's the same issue I have with porn. Show me the girl, not the guy. Scrota are odd and ugly. Let's put boobs on the cars. That's much better.
And....I drank your beer because it was free and you didn't stop me.
I just realized that I never mentioned the The F**king New Guys will be there. Yes, four seasoned veterans will help a newbie become a team captain in his first race. God help us all. This should be fun.

Are you sure it isn't a newbie helping 4 hopeless veterans.
