Topic: my crazy budget project

I have a 2002 mustang GT that i have tracked alot at all 3 firebirds tracks in Chandler, Az. I got the crazy idea to put a GM motor in it and do it all under $5k. I purchased a LQ4 (iron LS2 6.0) for $350 and my best friend gave me LS6 valve train,intake,cam for free. we are also adding a big single turbo (fabbing it all ourselves). was able to sell the stock sohc 4.6 for $500+. next month the block goes to the machine shop for a new hone, h beam rods/ forged pistons. here are some pics of the car and some pics of the progress.

I used to drive a 79 Ford F250 with a 400ci SBC mated to the ford T18.

It was hated equally by everyone.....perfect.
