Yep, that's a 1957 Ford Prefect, aka Police Brutality car #42, in the bed of a Dodge Ram 3500.

So, like, behold and stuff.
And if anybody is near I-95 and wants to see it, send a PM to Speedycop and he'll give you my cell. I'm leaving Orlando within the hour...

Wow, that may just trump the Tetris MR2s in creative transportation.

THAT IS AWESOME!!!

We are the people your parents warned you about.

Re: Transporting a Lemons car from FL to DC, economically...

i see straps tied to the rear of the prefect, but can't figure out what the other end of the straps are tied to.

please don't say "the front of the prefect."

have a safe trip.

Re: Transporting a Lemons car from FL to DC, economically...

Mick, that is quite simply brilliant. Unfortunately with the car loaded, I can't actually open the doors, and I'm not really nimble enough to climb around on the bed rails anyway...

Buzz, the straps are, naturally, attached to the front of the car. big_smile
But really, it's secured by the core support, which is the most robust (also, accessible) part of the front.

well, as long as they're also somehow connected to a part of the truck i suppose you'll be OK.

All I got to say is that my bed bolts are attached to the liner and not the bed.  I'm just sayin'

We won the IOE at Southern Discomfort.
We got screwed at The Real Hoopties of New Jersey  and we took cars down with us.
We got the curse at Capitol Offense but they wouldn't let us destroy the car.

My hooks are attached to the frame.

What kind of truck has anything attached to it's bedliner, a Honda Ridgeline? neutral

Overcompensating for what, exactly? I'm genuinely curious to know how owning a  TWO WHEEL DRIVE truck set up to tow a 36-foot fifth-wheel means I am trying to compensate for something.

Oh, and by the way, my truck belonged to my late father and we spent a lot of time doing stuff to it together. So fuck you, dick. I don't appreciate the tone.

Forecast through the 30th shows highs in the 50's and 60's, lows in the 30's and 40's, sunny and partly cloudy.  PLEASE let the weather be like two days ago, not today.  Yep, it has rained and rained and rained today, all the cold frogs are drowning.....

Dude, really?  I thought we were all having a bit of fun.

And if you must know - it looks like you're compensating for having a small prefect.  It's riding bitch in the back of the truck.

Now, do you believe that I meant to insult you, your father, or your memory of him?  If you took it that way, I sincerely apologize.

Rob has been to my crib, Ron. He's a good dude. He just didn't know all dudes with size 15 feet have no sense of humor about their tiny e-peckers.
