We got a great deal on this audi 4000 5+5 at our first Lemons race.
We ran it at reno last year and got an F.
So we went back to the drawing bord and came up with this.
and now its going back to Thunderhill to run going for broken May 8-9 (I hope we get in). we will try to keep it out of the wall.
I just hope you have drivers who look like Mouton, Mikkola, or "The Real Stig" Blomqvist. This car looks bonkers and I can't wait to see it blow the hell up. I mean "succeed brilliantly"... 
I can only hope our 'body kit' looks that hot...

sweet car.....yet one more "euro" to add to the epic (less) battle between the "wankers" (Jag XJS) and "Dicks" (Porsche 928)
we have a White and a black stig on the team. We have beten wankers and Dicks befor.

Oh, man... this is awesome! I had a die-cast model of Mouton's Audi Quattro when I was a little kid. I'm looking forward to seeing this beast in person!

the 5+5's resemble a coupe in the rear. Nothing a sawzall can fix. I love the car, that is fantastic!

My point was that there are two different cars in those photos.

All body work was done using scrap metal from hoods, fenders and doors removed by a local body shop.
Playing by the letter of the law, all the "theme" materials were scrap except a few cans of spray paint.

The car took a bit of a beating in the portland chumpcar race but it will be better than new when we get there.
Awesome work! This desperately needs a 5cyl Audi at 8000rpm. If I had one I'd give it to you.
Well it is missing the AWD, a Cylinder, Turbo, and about 650 Hp.

Assuming the 928 estate and Jag XJS survive Sears Pointless we will BOTH be there..... With the addition of the Audi it just adds another element to the Euro battle we have.....
I like the team names of
"Wankers vs Dicks" (jag) and "Dicks vs Wankers" (928)
That is one of the best done themes I have seen well done, too bad the wall destroyed it. I bet you got a lot of looks pulling it on the trailer to the event.
It did take a hard wall hit or two as well as a t-bone by a mustang. But its alsomst all fixed and will be ready to race thunderhill. on a side note we are looking at running a 6 hour ICSCC enduro in a mounth as a shake down. wish us luck!

test day went very well never got over 180 deg. on the coolant even after 30 min of track time.
