Here's an example lap at Gingerman during the 10th Anniversary Race... I think it was about a 1:51. Our fastest was about a 1:49.

I like how once you completed the pass on the RX7 on the back straight you didn't pull all the way to the left to make the turn at 11. Drives me crazy when people swerve left at the last minute to make that right hand turn.
CODE BROWN!!!!!
1st Green lap on Sunday
More lemony racing
I think the Landshark guys have a bit of oil blow-by...

Especially the heavy cars that pull in front of you then jump on the brakes way earlier than you normally do!

What about when an E30 does this to a spec land yacht?
This guy was on the verge of receiving a MOPAR enema after this little stunt of his:

That's some pretty average driving.

I had been reeling him in since turn 11 on the previous lap. No excuses for not seeing a 3500# Chrysler in the rear view.
Also, I told Mike (Landshark) that I wouldn't have pointed him by so easily if I knew he was out for a Sunday drive and not actually racing.
Hehehe...
That's just typical poor driving.
I can't believe how well you guys drive the Mirada.
Makes me want to try driving spec land yacht.

In their defense....The Mirada used to be a car that you would pass and forget about, now it's hella fast.
We get this a bit when we catch and pass a "fast" car and immediately they lift their game as they don't expect to be passed by a car that is in their mind slower.

The first time I drove the Mirada (Autobahn - Oct 2015) I remember coming down the hot pits trying to merge on track and thinking to myself:
"Something is waaay wrong... this car is seriously down on power!"
Nope, Chris confirmed to me that the car was running stronger than it ever had before with its original 120 Jimmy Carter approved horsepower.
It was that exact moment when I knew an engine swap was inevitable.
To Chris' defense, he did an incredible job setting up the suspension and (wisely) did it before doubling the power output. Really looking forward to driving this car after the manual trans and welded diff swap.

I'd say that happens at least once a stint to me. It happens often enough that I'm expecting it a lot more and don't get quite so surprised when it happens but it still ticks me off.
