Topic: general fuel question

how many gallons of fuel have you been using per hour ?   how many for the whole event ?   we have a 2400# V6 car       anybody comparable that has figures ?

Our 2.3 N/A mustang reliably uses 5 gal. per hour at race speeds.

sounds about right.  maybe 80 gallons or so if your car survives the whole race.

Miata 11 Gallon tank we generally get around 2-2.5 hrs per tank depending on caution laps.

Nissan 2.0 gets about 5 gallons per hour. During a caution filled stint we were able to get 3.3 hrs from 13 gallons
