Maybe. As part of the settlement class though, I can guarantee you will get at least a 20% off coupon.

PS. Actually, it looks like you can get 20% back in cash for the "amount saved" as listed on your receipts or 10% back.
I just asked quicken and it says I've spent something like $1800 in the period mentioned so I guess after my next race, I'm going to be digging into my archive for receipts.

Darn - saw the subject line and thought an awesome theme report had appeared!

Re: Harbor Freight Class Action Settlement

The only people that do well from a class action suit are the attorneys.

Anyone that thinks "a regular price" really exists at H/F is a moron to start with.

Re: Harbor Freight Class Action Settlement

I just totalled all of the crap I've bought from them and it's pretty substantial.

If you only have a CC statement as proof, you'll get 10% as cash or 12% as a GC
If you have a receipt, you will get 20% of the "you saved XXX" line as cash or 30% as a GC -- after subtracting the value of any free items (so if you saved $10 and were given a 2.99 flashlight, you are going to get 20-30% of $7.01.

Considering how much crap I've bought from them since I started racing in Lemons in 2011, it's kind of a nice payout.
I'm now thinking about whether I should take $150 in cash or ~$200 in a GC (those were the receipts/statements I could access)

Sure, the lawyers are the ones who win here but OTOH, it's nice to get more than a shitty flashlight or a 20% off coupon for once.
