Topic: Thanks to the Alfa Team

Many thanks to the alfa (milano) team for the loan of your compressor and air chisel to remove our hosed lug and wheel stud.   Sorry you fought the beast so much but better luck next time!

Overall this may have been the most fun event of the four Lemons races we have run.

Re: Thanks to the Alfa Team

Thanks!  You were good neighbors pretty quick on the track too!  See you soon.

Just curious, how do you use a press to remove a spinning wheel stud with the wheel still on it?

put the car on its side and press it out from the inside.  you don't need 5 (or 4) studs to hold your wheel on, do you?

I've removed the other four, then used a BIG crowbar to pry the wheel outward. then use your gun at max setting with max pressure....the prying can load the spline in the stud...never tried it with alloy wheels...
