We are planing on it. Really need to add a fuel cell for that race. I don't think our slow Jetta stands a chance in A Class now, but maybe in a 24 hour race we can put put around and rack up laps.

Looks interesting. Tempted to bring the new 928... I'll say 50/50 at this point smile

White Trash Racing is planning on stopping by on the way back from the Route Sucky Suck Rally. We're going to have someone deliver our super secret car to the track so we can race. Hopefully.

I'll be there. I'll go anywhere for a true 24.

Re: 2018 Houston, We Have A Problem - Full 24 Hour

The biggest problem for me is what car to run, haha. The 944 is the good reliable one. The 411 is the more interesting one, but would its electrical system even support all the lights it would need for people not to hit it?! Like, the rear end of that thing would have to be lit up like a bad Fast and the Furious extra.

Re: 2018 Houston, We Have A Problem - Full 24 Hour

This sounds like a truly miserable, exhausting, and difficult race; I love it.  Too bad we're 18 hours away not counting how much longer that would take while towing our car.  I may have to arrive and drive if possible just to give this a try once.

Sounds awful. Hopefully my team doesn't see this or I'll have to do it again.

On the plus side, you leave Sunday at noon! You'll be home before work on Monday.

We'll be there with the Dart. Probably only going to do the NOLA race before it, so we'll theoretically have plenty of time to catch up on various improvements and bugfixes we've been putting off.

Re: 2018 Houston, We Have A Problem - Full 24 Hour

We are planning to be there as well.  We went from one train of thought for upgrades and tweaks to the car to a completely different train on upgrades and tweaks.

I'm in, but I'm not towing my car that far.  A&D it is!
