Topic: which summit point track in June?

We're getting a team together for the DC race at Summit

For the beltway race in June (18-20) 2010 which track will we be using?

The Main, Jefferson Circuit, or Shenandoah?

Are there any major differences to be noted (opposite direction, extra chicanes, etc?

thanks!

Re: which summit point track in June?

When I inquired about this I was told Shenandoah, backwards, with a loop-d-dupe and a figure 8. tongue

It was posted here a while ago - Shenandoah without the Karussel, Corkscrew, or Jump.

We won the IOE at Southern Discomfort.
We got screwed at The Real Hoopties of New Jersey  and we took cars down with us.
We got the curse at Capitol Offense but they wouldn't let us destroy the car.

Where would the cutoff be to miss the Karussel, Corkscrew, and Jump ? I am looking at the shenandoah course on the Summit Point website. I see the Karussel and Corkscrew, but where is the jump ?

Thanks

The jump is right after the bridge on bridge straight.

There is a turn on bridge straight right before the bridge that will take you past start/finish.  They are taking out everything north of the timing tower.  I don't know what other options they are going to use/not use on the course.

I have no idea how they are going to work things - pit in/pit out are going to be interesting in either direction.
