Not sure if this is the most appropriate place for a thread like this, but I guess moderators can move it if they see fit.
Lemons has been going on for more than a minute and I think some of us may have aged more gracefully than others. Same goes for the cars. Let's see some Then and Now pics of YOU or your CAR. No offense to relatively new teams-- but let's see some cars and folks who have been around a while.

This was either our 2nd or 3rd race in Lemons dated 2011, Our first race was in 2010 at the Fall CMP race, What you don't see is the pregnant woman helping to push the car around the paddock area

Earliest photo of the Punisher Caprice that I have. This was 2008, it's first year iirc. Some of my b-body friends originally built it.
Add years. It was raced all over from 08-12, maybe longer. We revived it for CMP Fall 2017. Trans crapped in a few laps, but it's OK, the heads were cracked (freezing??) and we overheated the hell out of the motor. We thought we had a plugged rad, so we swapped that out, and 45 mins later, refilled the motor. Cold coolant was rapidly heated to 240 even after all that time, before we even fired the motor.
New heads and trans from an old MI friend that had relocated to SC, and wrenching until 1AM. Ran all Sunday.
I bought the car March 2018. Some lighweighting and lots of prep, we took it to Joliet 4/18. We still had 1-2 teething issues, stupid oversight on battery cable and exhaust, and the car had some snap oversteer issues.
Replaced some really aged rear control arm bushings, added moar low, and lightness. We ran local autoX and the Impala SS Nationals with it all summer.

Gingerman Fall 2018 - Ran like a beast.... for 6 hours until we broke a weld on the torque converter. Odd failure. It's ok, we found out we maybe 7 hours worth of rear brake pad..
Found behind a Dodge dealership in North Georgia, this factory 4 speed car competed in a couple Grassroots Motorsports Magazine $2000 Challenges before the owner had a kid and let it sit for a decade.
While it still had burgundy paint for the first event, a pic of me in the auto cross ended up in Hot Rod Magazine. This irritated the neighbor that helped us weld in the roll bar. He came across the street waving his issue saying I build $100k street rods and your piece of shit Valiant makes it into the magazine.

Two things help this that we have in spades with the Dustbuster as well:
Drivers that understand it is an endurance race and try to keep their nose clean
Car that was hideous from the factory, when new, wears and minor race blemishes well.

We've had our ups and downs
2015- had a wreck during our second race but got it fixed and kept racing
Mid 2016 - added some sheet metal, 2 gallons of bondo, and some rustoleum.
